Hi friends! Just popping in with a big hello
on this beautiful Sunday winter morning.
Opened my front door and snapped this phone photo
and thought the flag made it look so awesome.

I absolutely love beautiful snowy winter days. I could never live year-round where there isn't 4 seasons.
(Though the older I get the more my joints + bones beg to differ.)
Now that I need not rush to work at the crack of dawn in this stuff I do love snow much much better now!
♥
I was so surprised to have our snow completely untouched.
It is seldom we don't see a zillion deer tracks all over.
What a pleasant bit of eye candy to discover on this cold winter's morning!
It's a great day for sipping on some nice hot cuppas, reading a good book, enjoying the warmth of a roaring fire....
Whatever you do today, I wish you peace and harmony and the joy of living.
God bless you and your families.
(And please remember to feed the birds!)
Finch Rest loves goldfinches and bluebirds best.
♥
Stay home, stay safe, stay well.

Such beautiful photos of the fresh fallen snow! That is when it is at its best!! I used to love living there and playing in it, but didn't enjoy driving to work in it (or ice). We live in Florida now and although I miss the 4 seasons, I am thankful to be here in the winter especially. But when I see pictures like yours, I would love to run out and play in it for a while!!
ReplyDeleteWe got lots of snow too almost 10 inches. It is pretty when you do not have to drive anywhere in it. Happy New Week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Michele, and I love your flag flying over the snow! Hope you have a lovely snow day my friend - thanks for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to have so much snow!
ReplyDeleteGlorious!
ReplyDeleteOh my! How absolutely beautiful! Enjoy your day sweet lady. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteLovely pics of the beautiful winter day. We have all of the above, just not the snow! Cold and looks like snow here so I will enjoy all the cozy of this kind of day. Happy February.......
ReplyDeleteYour snow scenes are just gorgeous! I love sneaking out to find what has left tracks in the snow on our rare snowy days. I'm sure your birdies love you too! Stay cozy!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful snowy scenes, my friend! The flag does really stand out against ball the white. The birdies must be so happy coming to your yard. Enjoy your hot cup of tea by your cozy fire. 😘
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, Michele.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the snow when I don't have to shovel or drive in it!
I love your flag photo and snow and birds! I have goldfinches and sometimes bluebirds but you know they can be selective where they go. Love your winter snow photos! Now that February is here - winter is moving on. Thanks for your sweet note!
ReplyDeleteSnow is so pretty from a distance lol. I am enjoying my new life back in Florida. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your qwish, Michele...snow here today and it feels so calming, fun and wonderful♥
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and serene! Not looking very hopeful for any serious snow here in Georgia (for, like, the third year in a row, I believe). At least I get to enjoy it virtually through my friends!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cozy .
ReplyDeleteNice to stay inside

Thank you Michele for those beautiful pictures. The pine trees with snow and your lovely yard are a slice of winter heaven. The birds are having a feast. I love hearing the fresh snow crunch while walking. So refreshing to hear how much you too love the snow and the new beauty it brings to life after each snow storm.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post of fine feathered friends. We were feeding the birds during the recent Texas snowstorm. They do need the help.
ReplyDeleteMichele, what a magnificent view from your front door! Your snow photos are outstanding. I understand they can be difficult. Happy Spring (or nearly so)!
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to say I have missed you. I was so surprised that this last post is dated back in January. Beautiful snow scenes. We are expecting snow today, but I don't mind if it does not come. Hope that your Thanksgiving was blessed with family and friends. Many blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and white wonderland! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteAll the best for a new and happy 2022...
