Cutie in Pink!

It's been so long since I have posted any pics
 of our little sweetie.....
or of anything at all.

We've traveled, I've had surgery, and I
even went back to work part time -
so my summer was quite "full."

One of the very best parts of this summer
has been to actively be Grammie
to one of the sweetest 2 year olds on the planet.

She is always smiling, and has the sweetest disposition.

She turned two over the summer!

Here she is sitting proudly on her new pink tricycle.

In the bike basket is her cute unicorn mylar balloon!

(Her Auntie E gives perfect gifts!)

Auntie Eve also made her birthday cupcakes
to match her colorful rainbow birthday dress!

The entire theme of the party was rainbow -
and was so thoughtfully put together!

I should do a separate post on it -
I have a million pics of that wonderful party!

Like her momma, she loves anything to do with art
and creates "masterpieces" often with chalk.

She's learning how to make hearts!

And, yes, I know - plastic bags aren't toys.

What is it about packaging children love so much?

My grand dog is in the background.

When they're together Derby doesn't leave
baby alone - she is always nearby keeping a
watchful protective eye out for her.

Here she is proudly displaying more of her heart drawings,
along with her favorite glitter rainbow My Little Pony shoes.

(She'd wear them to bed if she could!)

And also, yes, she makes that sticking-her-tongue-out
face when she's making artwork.

It's genetic. Her momma did/does the same thing.

I just adore this top she has on in these pics.
Wanted to share a close up so you can see.

She is a playful goof and picked a million degree summer night
to go find her winter hat and Santa slippers
to dress up her jammies.

She loves that hat and now uses it as her "purse"
to carry one of her very favorite stuffed toys.

I love this look of pure joy on her face.
I took this pic - she was soooo happy
about our coming up with this purse plan.

"I'm ready for my close up, Mr. Demille!"

I bet half of my readers laughed,
and the other half had to Google that.

:-)

I have really missed you all -
thank you for indulging me today!

She is just growing so fast!

I just want to spend as much time as possible
with her in these special little toddler years...
when everything is new and fresh....
when each day is an adventure...

Such as discovering her first Lady Bug.....

As always, thank you stopping by!

  14. What a wonderfully happy post about your little charmer, my friend! Your sweet granddaughter is just a doll baby and does look like she has the sweetest disposition. Little girls sure love unicorns 🦄, don't they? My little Harper, who is going on four, still loves them. I'm always finding unicorn themed clothing for her. I'm so glad that you enjoy your special Grammie time with her. ❤️
