An Christmas Afternoon Tea Part 2

OK- as promised, here is Part 2 of one of the very nicest
Christmas teas I have ever been blessed to attend.

This time I am sharing later in the evening.
I mentioned in the previous post, our teas are marathons.

Auntie Pam changed out the china
and then hosted a hearty delicious dinner for us as well.

(I will forever be in awe of this amazing woman!)

She placed a beautiful candle at every setting.
It was so pretty once the lights were dimmed a bit.

The yummy menu was buffet style,
and everything was made from scratch.

Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie
Spinach Salad w/ homemade strawberry dressing
Sticky Toffee Pudding
~and assorted sweets left from tea earlier~

This was the very first time I've ever tasted Sticky Toffee Pudding.

It is beyond description.

It is rich and decadent and truly beyond compare.

AFTERNOON CHRISTMAS TEA CLICK HERE.

Next time I visit Auntie Pam's
 gorgeous new custom-built home
I hope to just showcase it for you.
 It's so awesome.

It's the perfect size and so sparkly new, oh it's pretty!

However this post is all about Christmas and the tea,
dinner and her over-the-top beautiful decor......
I will just let the pictures do the talking.

Some whimsy in her kitchen:

I'm disappointed in my pics - I didn't seem to capture much,
as EVERY square inch  of her home from porch to bathrooms
and every room in between was so tastefully  decorated.

I can't even imagine how she does it!!!!

(Or where she keeps it all stored!)

And she had all sorts of bling!

The candle light, the shimmers and sparkles
 created such a gorgeous mood
as the evening wore on.

And, of course, she had THE brightest bling in all the universe
displayed in fine and full Glory: Baby Jesus

I hope you've enjoyed Pam's parties
and home as much as I have sharing it with you.

As always, thanks for your visit.

Hugs and prayers to each of you!

~Michele

  1. Oh! How very magical and wonderful, Michele. Like being in a Winter Fantasyland made for adults instead of kids. I would love to see more of her home---if Christmas is any indication of what the rest of her house is like I would love to see it. As you know, I am getting ready to downsize, too, and a bit anxious about all of that mess. Looks like your Aunt did it beautifully! xo Diana

  14. I agree with Diana! This is a winter fantasy-land! I would love to see Pam's home at other times as well. Your teas always intrigue and captivate me, this is the most fabulous! The menu sounds so tasty, and her table is gorgeous. How lucky you are to have these afternoons, and thanks so much for sharing with us. By the way, your pics are beautiful!

Just watched the second of the Christmas movies you recommended to me! :)

  15. Thank you for sharing the magic with us from Pam's lovely home, Michele! What a wonderful time she made for all of you, with such thoughtfulness and kindness. Was that a punch bowl that was filled with ornaments? Pam sure know how to create a beautiful home, doesn't she? I'm glad that you were able to participate in the festivities and share them with us!

  17. This looks so lovely! Reminds me of someone else I know who decorates beautifully and serves delicious meals! ;) A lot of love and work goes into these things for sure. I am sitting here in my PJs trying to fight off a cold and wondering how I'm going to get everything done. I just want to go back to bed. But if I want to serve Christmas cookies, etc., this weekend, I need to get a move on! xo

  20. PS~ I just read part one and realized that Auntie Pam is a friend not your aunt. In any case, yes, you are blessed to have such good friends! And sticky toffee pudding is a favourite of mine. I have some in my refrigerator right now actually. It has been fun reading your posts. Merry Christmas, Michele, and God bless you!
