Look what we woke to this morning!
Isn't it gorgeous?
Here's the back yard -
all I did was simply open our back door
to take this pic.
It was so warm last week,
see the forming buds on the bush below?
Yikes.
By the time I took a pic
of the front yard it was snowing again.
And the plows had just come through - sure wish I'd have been faster, just moments
before it was pristine and untouched, except for a few tracks on the cul-de-sac of
tires going to work, like my hubs'.
Somehow my Harvest Blessings mailbox flag
looks out of place now.
It's funny that it and the remaining leaves
of the little tree in front are the only real bits of color.
Winter leaf-bare trees with clinging snow is a sight to behold.
As always, thank you for your visit!
♥

Oh wow, that is a lot of snow. I love to look at it in pics, but I don't miss being in it. Gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteNow that' s a lot of snow, Michele..sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Doesn't it look pretty? I love the second photo down, very tranquil looking. It's been snowing all day here but that's OK, I've put out the winter decor and have the Christmas tunes cranked.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Michele.
How beautiful your first snowfall is!
ReplyDeleteJust wow!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, it looks Beautiful..
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that you have snow so early..
enjoy every moment of it and thanks for sharing it with us.
So pretty! We've had some snow, but not enough for it to look pretty yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty snowfall you got! Your yard looks like a winter wonderland. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteNow that's snow ... something I haven't seen in 30+ years ... living on the Gulf Coast has its disadvantages or advantages! It is beautiful. Hope you stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI'm grudgingly appreciating the snow... lol
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a bit of snow. Isn't it pretty all fluffy, light, and white? We had our first blast of snow, less than an inch, but it has been bloody cold. I guess winter is on. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteHi dear Michele! Your snow pictures are beautiful! We, too, got snow last week and it's such a lovely sight :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week! Hugs and blessings
Beautiful snow pictures, so much snow so early. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Michele, these photos are magical- a snowy world! We have such glaring sun so much of the time that your neighborhood looks enchanting! Love your candid photos :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow is very beautiful! Seems like life rolls around so fast we are shocked when the seasons change.
ReplyDeleteIt is cold here too and we had our first hard freeze. I think tonight will get down to 29. For the deep south that is cold. I remember Thanksgivings as a child with lots of ice everywhere.
I loved your photos. You really received a heavy snowfall. How many inches?
I was really hoping they were going to be wrong, Michele. It's way too early for snow and this cold freeze for me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love those kind of snowfalls that just lace every tree branch. The view out the back with all the evergreens is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe have snow, too, and more coming today. I'm still without a car for a couple more weeks, so I really am fine with it, inside with a fire going :) Have a wonderful day Michele!
Michele… that is an amazing sight!!! Soooo unbelievably beautiful , something I can only dream of , I can't imagine looking out of my window and seeing such beauty…Enjoy…
ReplyDeleteXOXO Mary
Oh, how beautiful! You know, don't you, that this much snow would absolutely paralyze us here in Georgia!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow!!! It's really beautiful, though. Autumn is slowly leaving Virginia, but winter is not quite here yet.
ReplyDeleteMichele it is gorgeous and I love the first snow...just not the 4-6 months of it...great shots
