I was getting ready to put away my last
teatime garden post I shared with you last
and I got to thinking about trying something just to see how it looked..........
I have an entire rack of wreaths for various seasons
and with various colours - and never thought till just now
about using them as centerpieces with candles....
I have only done that at Christmastime.....
But it looks great.
~~~~~*~~~~~
I tried it below with a hurricane.
I liked it a lot but liked the tall simple glass vase a tiny bit better.
It give lots of colour and interest -
and it is something many of us already have just sitting around.
How nice to give our extra wreaths dual purposes.
Of course most brides want fresh floral centerpieces,
but sometimes budgets or allergies can interfere...this is
nice because the bride could give her bridesmaids the wreaths
after the reception as a momento!
That's all - just wanted to share my idea.
As always, thank you for your visit!
Michele, thank you so much for stopping by my Magnolia Cottage the other day. Even though I'm a longtime blogger, starting a new blog means making new blog friends, and that isn't always easy to do. So please know that I sincerely appreciate your visit.
ReplyDeleteYour centerpiece idea is beautiful...and quite genius. Thanks for sharing such a great idea.
Blessings,
Patti
Super idea, Michele & it looks so pretty, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Michelle! I would never have thought of that myself. I'll have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
It's a very good idea, too!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when a lightbulb goes on in your head for a marvellous idea? And of course you must share it with us! The yellow wreath is cheery looking, good thought for a tea table too.
ReplyDeleteCheerful and festive!
Glad you found another way to use your wreaths.
ReplyDeleteI've done something similar before, with wreaths that just have greenery on them.
That yellow really pops !
Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteA cute and practical idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. I have one wreath - I believe it's called a willow wreath and I am always using that and putting different flowers into it. I don't use it to much but will start using it more. Thanks so much for sharing and have a great weekend.
Great minds think alike, I am doing crochet flower wreaths for my daughters wedding. I do like the look of the tall glass vase rather than the traditional hurricane vase. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGREAT idea- I love it -it looks just beautiful! Now you will have to do one for EVERY season! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Michele! I have done this at Christmas time, too, and never seem to remember it during the year for a centerpiece idea.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and a great idea. It's funny how we just don't think about things sometimes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are getting ready for summer.
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate your visits Michele. I am always delighted when I read your very thoughtful and kind comments.
Wishing you a wonderful week,
I love your pretty table and chairs Michele. The wreath makes a lovely centerpiece with the candle, just perfect for summer. I do this a lot during the holidays. I love how easy it is and with pretty candles and hurricanes stunning. Thanks for sharing...........
ReplyDeleteSO pretty, Michele! Love the dainty white and yellow daisies around the vase. I also use wreaths for centrepieces and candles at Christmas and really like the effect. Wreaths are so versatile, aren't they? Your bistro set looks lovely, and very inviting, especially in that warm sun!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
