I thought you might enjoy a tablescape
perfect for a winter's eve dinner party.
Using glistening old silver, mirrors, crystal, white,
and lots of snowflakes together makes
a strong winter statement.
It looks amazing at night with dim lights and all the candles lit.
(Of course it doesn't show up nicely in pics that way though!)
I used lots of different snowflake buttons as scatters.
This centerpiece was found at the GW a few years ago.
The entire tablescape inspiration came from this piece.
(Funny how one gal's trash is another's treasure!)
I really ♥ it!
I had some extra of these snowflake soaps
so used them again to give as favors.
(Works for different groups of guests easily enough!)
I love mismatched silver - everything matches each kind of piece
but none of the others match one another, if that makes sense.
I have 8-piece SETS of each kind.
This is the view of the table at the halfway landing point
on one's way up to the loft and upstairs area.
Anyway it is cold and blustery and has been snowing all day.
Stay warm and snug and cozy, everyone!
As always, thank you for your visit!
♥
~Michele

Michele, it looks beautiful and all in readiness for a great evening! I like it all and the pops of turquoise-I assume the soap box just adds a sweet touch.
ReplyDeleteOh! That is SOOOO pretty, Michele. My post tomorrow is about tablescaping too and not nearly as pretty as yours! Love it- What time is dinner? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the title Winter's Eve.... I keep forgetting to use my mirrors- they work so well and in this case they are perfect for the cool reflection they offer. How nice that you have china with a snowflake and am embroidered napkin with one too! Cute centerpiece!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table!! Where did you find your lovely snowflake napkins and plates? I also love your centerpiece. Well done! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeleteMichele, it is beautiful and very elegant. I think your inspiration centerpiece is lovely. It is funny that one gal's trash is another's treasure. It's the best of recycling! '-)
ReplyDeleteA lovely winter's eve table, Michele. I have the same snowflake plates that I purchased at a grocery store here about 4 years ago. I love silver, white and aqua together - a perfect combo for a winter table.

Hello Michele. Your winter table is perfect and beautiful. Classic white and silver china paired with vintage flatware gives the table an elegant and classy finished touched. Michele...your table is just perfect for this time of year. It really gives that wintry feeling but with the warmth of the candles, very cozy. I am in love with the plates and napkins and your centerpiece is fantastic. I've never used mirrors and I can tell I've been missing something!! I'm not sure if this was set for guests or not but I think they would be impressed and feel very special :)

Michelle, this is so pretty and I have the same snowflake plates. I think I have some vintage flatware in some of the patterns, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Michele, which chair should I sit in!
ReplyDeleteLooks like we had similar ideas for a winter table Michele, your table is exquisite. Thanks for stopping by yesterday.
ReplyDeleteMy kind of table setting for a winter's eve dinner party! Our winter dishes are white and silver too with the smaller pieces having snowflakes on them and I've collected numerous snowflake things to go with them. Too bad we're not closer, we could borrow and lend accessories for our entertaining. There's just something about the sparkle of silver I like, and I've never used mirrors on the table - very clever my friend.
