My dear friend Crystal is a world traveller -
I mean, this gal has been everywhere!
At this moment she happens to be visiting Ireland.
She knows I am proudly of Irish descent,
and she knows how much I love tea.
So, when she was in Galway yesterday
she emailed me this cute pic!
Teacups hanging in the window, wicker chair, lace curtains,
pink gerbera daisies, Olde Gaelic lettering on sign -
is this charming or what?

I ♥ the rusty old blackboard sign
(with its 5 exclaimation points!)
I think they feel strongly about this!
True gentlemen are manly enough
to visit teahouse with their ladies.

Thanks for the smiles, Crystal.
Have fun there! Ireland is so amazing!

As always, thank you for your visit today!

How thoughtful of your friend to send this to you! I would have hit the brakes for this shop as well, and I *love* that sign, especially its admonition to "fight the frills." Charming!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a charming shop. It made me smile too.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, don't you wish we could go there for tea Michele? The shop is quaint and I love the sign. I'm hoping to find time, and a tea shop during my garden tour in Ireland next June.
ReplyDeleteThanks Crystal for sending the photos to Michele!

That looks like a great tea shop Michele. So much character to the building and the decor. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be wonderful to be there? What a great place.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so wonderful. I love the tea cups hanging in the window. How fun it would be to peek inside!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
It looks like a wonderful place to have tea or eat lunch. Hope those men are reading the sign.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a true manly gentleman and would not hesitate to eat at a place like that with me. He likes tea hot or cold too. Haha!!
ReplyDeleteDear Michele,
ReplyDeleteI love this!!! Love the window, the cups hanging and the adorable sign. Yes, it all made me smile too.
Best, Ruthie
Oh my goodness, I visited Galway and missed that adorable Tea Room! Now I want to go back! Thank for bringing up happy memories with my sweetheart. xo
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother's side is from Galway. That is precious! My sister and her Irish born husb go ever year. Wish I could join them!
ReplyDeleteI give this restaurant five stars just for the sign!
