I know many of you got hit with this storm as it swept/sweeps westward......so forgive me for sharing yet more snow.
But for those who haven't seen the likes in a while
- just so you know-
we had NO snow on the ground yesterday when I went to bed.
This is what we woke to in the backyard.
(OK, sorry, almost wordless.)
This taken from INSIDE to show the kitchen birdfeeder
- sorry about the screen in the way.
I love snow from a distance, not from touch!
Stay warm, dry and safe!
Thanks for visiting!
♥

Crazy, right? I saw it was coming down when I went to bed, Michele, but figured I'd see what the outcome was this morning. It looks more like Christmas is coming rather than Easter! Saturday ~ 52 degrees! : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to look at!
ReplyDeleteWhy does snow look exquisitely beautiful in December and not quite so in March? Hopefully, it'll all melt away soon. Was there a lot of wind with this system?
ReplyDeleteNo clue,Vee, I was asleep, haha!
DeleteHi Michelle. That'sabout what my yard looks like this morning to...it' beautiful...,,however I had to drive in it last night as I traveled from Michigan to Indiana...not so beautiful then! Lol! I love the pics!

Beautiful! From someone who comes from a very mild climate...I see such beauty in your pictures...so glad your area is getting much needed moisture! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Stay warm and hopefully it won't take long to melt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wintry wonderland, Michele! I know you're staying warm and cozy. Thanks for sharing your pretty pics of your backyard. xo
ReplyDeleteI would so love to be in that snow. I am sweltering in our heat wave and am so over Summer. x
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely stunning photos. I especially love the next to last one. Beautiful! We've had very little snow this year in OK so I'm glad to see this gorgeous snow.
ReplyDeleteI feel for all of you...I know you are so tired of snow! We haven't had but one light snow here which is fairly normal for southeast Va. It was pretty and fun and then it was over. Hope you start feeling like Spring soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, that is a ton of snow. I am like you, pretty to look at, I just don't want to live in it anymore. Hope you have a pretty spring soon. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteBut it's so pretty Michelle. Keep happy thoughts, spring is on it's way!

I CANNOT believe the amount of snow you got! WOW! I don't want to tell you how nice it was here in Oregon today. I always wish for more snow here but we sure don't get much. Think spring!
ReplyDeleteW-O-W! Here in Georgia, we got so little snow last weekend (just flurries, really), that I think I could have counted the individual snowflakes, and that STILL got us all excited! I don't think I've seen snow like yours since 1993, and yes, I remember it!
ReplyDeleteWell it doesn't get any "whiter" than that, does it?! Everything is so beautiful. I love how it looks after it snows.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, like a postcard! Same thing happened to us last night. It is still snowing, but it's pretty much melting on the streets. The ground has a significant amount though. I think it would be worse if the it was colder.
ReplyDeleteIt does look beautiful! We missed this one but we could easily get more before winter is over. However, spring will be here before we know it!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Carolyn
Wet heavy snow is so beautiful when it sticks to the trees. Looks like lots of shoveling in store for you unless it melts quickly as ours did.

Just beautiful, Michele! It really is a winter wonderland.
