WOW- here we are into another new month again already!
Just exactly where did October go?
Anyone have any idea?
If you find September let me know!
I am slowly but surely getting my house "Autumnified."
Today I had just time enough to get my front door in season!
My daughter who made my pretty silk pumpkin I shared in this post
also made this amazing felted wool sunflower doilie for me for my birthday one year.
I keep underneath this rustic metal pumpkin.
I really love to decorate for fall because
the colours match most of my decor perfectly
- like this painted hallway table.

Can you spot my fine feathered friend tucked away hidden
in this floral arrangement?
A large 3 wick candle with a fresh fall fragrance
brings warm ambience to any room.
Sprucing them up with some raffia and silk fall flora
makes a nice centerpiece.
Here is Phase One of front door area.
(Phase Two is all about Halloween.)
I am joining Melissa over at
The Inspired Room for her fun fall linky party!
Each week has a theme and the first one on October 2 is

ReplyDeleteYou've done a lovely job, Michele! Love that table. The colors are perfect for adding your Fall vignettes. That floral arrangement is really pretty. Great wreath, too. I just found one yesterday and added it to my front door. Still need to get a large mum for my urn by the front door. Next week we will probably get some pumpkins {with the granddaughter} so I'll add a few of those in, too.
ReplyDeleteHello Michele
ReplyDeleteAutumn has come to your home and everything looks lovely. Our thanksgiving is so early this year, this coming weekend so I'll be baking and making the house smell good.

Yes, I found him! Glad that you mentioned it because I missed him the first time. Your home looks so lovely. For years, I decorated in autumn colors because I love them so. I may be heading back to that now...
ReplyDeleteWonderful list and Cream of Pumpkin soup sounds so yummy right now.
Your front door entrance is just beautiful. I love the architecture of the front too. You've reminded me that I need to get some mums for my front entrance too. Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI just love your fall decor, Michele, and I especially love reading your list! (I'm a big list-maker, and I enjoy reading anyone else's lists too!) And I also wanted to say an extra thank-you for your kind and thoughtful comment about my shopping trips with my mom. YOUR mom obviously raised a wonderful child, and reading your sweet comment made me extra thankful for my own mom. God bless!
