Autumn Trees in Backyard



 
What a beautiful fall day today!
 
Such brilliant colour in the backyard!






 
Makes one glad to be alive.








And give God such thanks for days like this!

The summer-flower has run to seed,
And yellow is the woodland bough;
And every leaf of bush and weed
Is tipt with autumn’s pencil now.

And I do love the varied hue,
And I do love the browning plain;
And I do love each scene to view,
That’s mark’d with beauties of her reign.

    The trees are GORGEOUS!! I was thinking about you today as I looked out my backyard to the beautiful yellows of the trees in back. Michele you and I were on the very same wave length. I almost decided to do photos and a blog post about them but had already started with our last years halloween party. SO glad you shared yours.

    You have a beautiful yard, Michele! The two trees outside our condo windows are leafless already but I've been enjoying the other trees and their leaf colors on my walks.
