In time for DebbieDoo's PRIMP YOUR PUMPKIN linky party
I have finally begun my Autumn decorating.
I didn't "primp" a pumpkin myself, but wanted to show off
one of my daughter's crafty creations!
This was one of her handmade birthday gifts to me last year.
(I am an early October birthday so this was a perfect present!)
Isn't this just darling?!?
She crocheted the leaves and stem "top" with jute
and the body is a silken golden plaid.
The gold picks up the gold in the window swags.

And it matches the one next to it rather nicely.
Here's the other side of the mantle.
I tend to learn towards a neutral/white Autumn decor.
Like these three sweet little pumpkins sitting in a row......
Makes one feel quite welcome.
My MIL gave me this awesome metal pumpkin.
Here's the room all together.
Be sure to join the party for fun inspiration!

Your daughter made the prettiest pumpkin ever! I love it! Your white autumn mantel is lovely. It's simple & tasteful.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is a very talented lady! Her pumpkins are beautiful! I love your white autumn decorations. I have white pumpkins on my dining room table. But most my decorations are traditional fall colors. Only because I miss the colorful falls I had when I lived in Kentucky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative daughter you have! I especially love that she crocheted the tendrils on the stem, genius! I love them both, but if I was going to choose a favorite it would be the white one (chenille?). I like the little patch...it's little details like that that make something fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkins your daughter made...she is so creative. I like the more neutral colors, too, and hope I can limit myself to them! Your coffee table looks so pretty and simple with the mini white pumpkins on it!

ReplyDeleteYour daughter is a clever girl too, those pumpkins are fantastic. Everything in blogland is pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins ? Is it because halloween is approaching or is it the beginning of Autumn that you do this ? ? Halloween over here isn't as big as it is over there xo
