Teacups bring me such joy.
I know I am not alone in this thinking.
I always knew there were many others.....
.......Those who love hand painted china from wonderful
places as Bavaria, Austria, Japan, France or England.
My favorite pieces that I have kept are quite old.
(This one isn't so much, but it is a cutie nonetheless.)
Thanks for stopping by!
I do so appreciate your visits!

A beautiful cup and saucer!
ReplyDeleteHello Michele
ReplyDeleteI was impressed while away to find we would be served with cups and saucers every day for meals - it was so elegant.
The simple pattern and colours of your teacup are pretty.

Hi Michele,
ReplyDeleteLimoges always brings a smile to my face! Your teacup is stunning! Perfect for a summer day.
Beautiful teacup and saucer, Michele! I am always surprised at some of the really pretty ones I see at Goodwill.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like how unique the pattern is with it's sweet green ban. So dainty and so French.
ReplyDeleteHi Michele,
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet teacup! Limoges always makes a lovely teacup. I love the pink and green combo; very dainty! Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea. Hope you have a lovely week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Beautiful teacup, Michele, and that green plant pot is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI agree, a very pretty teacup. Love that little doily too!

It's a dainty little thing with the pink flower vine winding around that way. I'm still loving the green...
ReplyDeleteSomehow tea always tastes better in these old, dainty cups & saucers. My grandmother left me her set and I love every one of them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, lovely cup & saucer!
Debbie :)
Love the color and design on it.
ReplyDeleteit is cutie, michele! love that planter, too!
ReplyDeleteMichele, That is a stunning teacup! It is just beautiful. I think of you and your love of finches when I look out and see the goldfinches enjoying my coneflowers - that is a frequent occurence these days. They sure are gorgeous! Love the goldfinches; we do have many house finches as well and in fact a mother and father house finch raised 3 broods of babies in a nest on a light fixture on the front porch.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Beth
This is a lovely cup...you can feel its delicacy from the picture...Limoges is always nice!
ReplyDeleteA beauty for sure Michele. I love seeing your collection and your photos are always wonderful!

Lovely post and lovely tea cup. There is nothing more comforting than a good cup of tea or coffee in a beautiful vessel. Great photos too!
ReplyDeleteA very elegant set, beautifully coloured, I love the colour. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI too, take much delight in tea cups! Yours is a sweetie! She looks very light and thin. These cups make a truly pleasant experience with tea. I have one similar from France only a little different pattern. I too love hand painted china. Your collage photos are fab, I need to learn how to do that!
Hugs,
Terri
I love Limoges too, mainly because it's just so pretty and delicate!
