I found this lone vintage rooster salt shaker at a local thrift store over the weekend and just had to bring him home to our nest. I seldom buy anything that isn't functional but I couldn't resist this dust-catching cutie!
There is just something about this lil guy I absolutely love.
I think he looks perfect all nestled in with three large white urns.
He is vintage but he asked for me to make him look like a valuable antique in this last pic.
What a big 'ole faker!

ReplyDeleteI love his colors, Michele! Of course you had to bring him home ~ you couldn't leave him sitting there all by his lonesome. : )
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I love little roosters. If there is only one of a set, I feel it's my duty to bring them home. We think alike Michele. I wonder if our husbands do too.
ReplyDeleteI love roosters too, Michele! And of course you had to bring him home! I'm sure he loves you for it, and what a fancy spot for him to nestle in too! Hope you're having a delightful day.

What a cutie-pie rooster, Michele!! He looks perfect where he's sitting.
ReplyDeleteMichele, wouldn't it be great if you were able to find Mrs. Rooster when you are out and about? I like his colors and he looks handsome the way you have displayed him. -------- Shannon
