Marina's entire world is surrounded by Everything Tea! Every single place one's eye looked would settle on a tea quilt, tiny teacup figurine, a tea book.......hundreds of teacups and teapots.......lace.......amazing eye candy everywhere!
Oh, being in her home was like spending the day in a museum (only much better because everything had a story behind it! She had so much to share about many of her pieces. (I think she needs to write a book about them all along with beautiful color glassy pictures and reference charts!)
This beautiful first teacup was the one I used. Isn't that spoon wonderful? I love the florals inside!
Look at this sweet beautiful chintz- one of the prettiest I have ever seen! I LOVE this teacup!
This is a very old precious one, indeed. I believe it to be Bavarian. Love the intricate gilding and I love that silver spoon, too.
I may slowly reveal more of her lovely afternoon tea in the future, but for now I am settling to share 3 lovely teacups used on her table. I think they are lovely, almost as the ladies themselves. It was such a special treat to be invited into Marina's lovely home and to spend the entire day with such wonderful friends.
Time to go put the kettle on and head on over to Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday and also Teacup Tuesday!
